Julian has a commitment to postgraduate training and is constantly updating his skills to keep up to date with the rapid advances made in modern dentistry. He has studied courses in dental implants and cosmetic dentistry at Tipton Training in Manchester and has a keen interest in preventing dental disease and treating patients gently and with minimal intervention.
Outside of work, Julian is kept busy by his wife Karima, who also works at the practice, and their two children Leah and Joe.
Kirsty has a passion for orthodontics and uses the 'Quick straight teeth' system to gently align the position of the front teeth. She also has a keen interest in treating anxious and phobic patients and has completed training in facial aesthetics including wrinkle relaxing treatments and facial fillers.
Outside of work she is kept busy by her two sons and enjoys gardening and swimming.
She treats children and nervous patients compassionately. She damaged her front tooth at the age of 9 and remembers the wonderful care she received that day. Her interest in cosmetic dentistry has always been a passion as a result of that fall and loves nothing more than restoring peoples smiles.
She has completed a 12 month restorative course and a 3 month cosmetic and smile design course with Nigel Hargreaves.
She will often be heard singing to her patients. Outside of work she sings bass in the Abbey Belles Chorus and also in the quartet Jabberwocky.
Natalie is also mum to 2 teenage daughters Ruby and Lottie. She is continuing to develop her mediation skills accordingly!
In her free time, she loves to read, cook and recently took up paddleboarding.
In 2014 she embarked on specialising in the placement and restoration of dental implants. After completing a year course with Tipton Training, she now is progressing with an MSc in Dental implantology and hopes to continue developing her skills in this exciting and evolving technology. In 2017 Tarjinder undertook a course with the Harley Street-based facial aesthetics trainers Medics Direct and is qualified to place anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers.
Tarjinder enjoys helping patients meet their dental needs and especially enjoys helping nervous patients to overcome their fears. Outside of the dental world, she can be found enjoying long walks with her furry companion Otis the mischievous Cocker spaniel. She enjoys regular gym sessions and meditation.
Abigail also works at the Leeds Dental Institute where she manages clinical trials. She is currently undertaking her own research, investigating the relationship between oral health and outcomes in patients undergoing chemotherapy, as well as better understanding inequalities in the health system.
She is a firm believer in taking a gentle approach to hygiene treatment, and is passionate about the benefits good oral health can have on your entire general health.
Outside of work she is a keen rock climber and full-time ball thrower for her energetic Labrador.
She is a great addition to the team, bringing a positive energy to the practice.
Sally has previously worked with an agency and is looking forward to growing her skills within our team.
In her spare time Sally plays for Sherburn White Rose Ladies Club as centre half, and on a weekend enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Having worked at Jet 2 as a passenger service agent, she gained exceptional customer service skills; she clearly loves meeting our patients and getting to know them. Maisie’s approachable, friendly manner helps with the smooth running of the practice. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son Hugo and socialising with family and friends.
In her spare time Gail enjoys holidaying and spending time with family and friends.
In my spare time I love spending time with my partner and 3 children. I spend my weekends spending time with my family, coaching my daughters football team and also playing football myself.
Laura is enjoying getting to know everyone and her calm gentle nature instantly puts our patients at ease.
Outside of work Laura is a devoted mum to her daughter Poppy.
